Our History

1983 – The Beginning

ABL was founded as the Southern California Technology Executives Network (SO/CAL/TEN)
to support tech leaders in navigating industry challenges.

1987 – A Defining Moment

The 1987 stock market crash left many technology companies struggling.
Those that thrived did so through strategic adaptability and peer-driven insights.

1990 – A New Identity

To reflect the resilient, forward-thinking nature of its members, the Organization rebranded as Adaptive Business Leaders (ABL).
