Today Cleveland Clinic is using AI for real-time decision making for the early detection of sepsis and stroke, and flagging neurological deterioration as it happens.
At the Mayo Clinic, AI on ECGs detects heart failure before symptoms. And last year the Clinic deployed 22 AI solutions in their clinical practice.
Meanwhile, at Mass General, AI is assisting radiology reads across all modalities, while ambient AI “listens” to and documents every patient-physician visit.
And, even smaller healthcare organizations are achieving breakthrough results using AI with the patients, and in administration.
Yet, while the good guys in healthcare are using AI to make life-saving and revenue enhancing strides, the bad guys and cyber thieves are leveraging AI, too. During our opening Members’ Only Discussion, we’ll look to hear from the Group about the most amazing AI applications you’ve experienced – or at least heard about. We’ll also look to hear about AI or AI-users’ missteps, because: clearly, they happen – but can be mitigated!
Then, Jason Makevich, CISSP, CEO of Greenlight Cyber, will share the highlights and challenges smaller and mid-size healthcare organizations are experiencing. He’ll also share the issues some are having safeguarding their data: clinical records, PHI & PII (Protected Health Information and Personally Identifiable Information), and not “falling” for increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
Following the break, we’ll discuss What Else Is Keeping You Up Nights?
Jason Makevich, CISSP, is Founder & CEO of Greenlight Cyber, which helps small and midsize healthcare organizations implement AI solutions to grow their businesses, while building cybersecurity into the fabric of their businesses. Jason founded Greenlight Cyber in 2010 after years in IT and security, And he founded PORT1, Inc. last year, to help managed service providers implement cybersafe solutions for their clients and train end-users how to use them safely and securely.
