East Bay Healthcare Executives Round Table

2nd Thursday of the month |  8:30 – 11:30 am   | Oakland, CA

Upcoming Meeting

July 12, 2018

During the June 14th session, we discussed:

Opening Discussion Topic

BUILDING – & SUSTAINING – A CULTURE OF TRUST
It seems nearly every day there’s another headline screaming of lack of trustworthiness and transparency that has corroded yet another corporate culture. Unfortunately, these breakdowns aren’t just happening in Hollywood and Las Vegas. Increasingly, healthcare institutions are recognizing, as the Trustees of the USC lamented, in the wake hundreds of complaints (going back over 20 years) about a campus gynecologist, “something is broken.”

During our Go-Round Discussion, we’ll look to hear your thoughts and “best practices” for how you’re ensuring that your organization is continually building – and sustaining – your culture of trust, for example, through:

  • Transparency (open disclosure of information)
  • Clear communication
  • Inviting input from everyone who’s on the team or impacted by the organization

Go-Round Discussion: What’s Keeping You Up Nights? Issues for Member feedback.

Featured Member: CINDY HATTON, CEO OF HOSPICE OF THE EAST BAY
Cindy will share with us the latest developments impacting her agency and the hospice field.
