Introducing the Greater Bay Area’s Super Provider Network – Increasingly, innovative healthcare organizations are breaking down the historic divisions that have kept competitors distanced, and healthcare providers and payers siloed. Recent headlines have reported a potential Aetna/CVS merger, while the Cleveland Clinic is already linked with Oscar Health in Ohio, just as Banner Health has partnered with Aetna in Phoenix.
Much closer to home, Canopy Health has brought together some of the biggest names in Bay Area Healthcare under a virtual umbrella of allied providers. Joel Criste, Canopy Health’s CEO, will share with us how they forged an alliance of 13 hospitals/systems – including UCSF, John Muir, Dignity, and AHS, then linked with several urgent care centers, and over 4,000 participating physicians (including Hill) to provide residents in seven Bay Area counties a new option for quality care. We’ll also hear how their carrier partners – UnitedHealthcare, already, plus Western Health Advantage and Health Net, starting 1/1/18 — have developed unique plans for small and large groups to access the Canopy Health network.
